At the last A.G.M. of the Mid Northumberland Chorus, it was suggested that we might form a group of ex-Chorus members and others with links to the Chorus or who have an interest in promoting choral music, with the title; “Friends of the Mid Northumberland Chorus”. 

This idea has been germinating over the past few months and following some informal soundings and a more formal consultation with a number of potential members under the chairmanship of Roy Wallace, we have decided to take this idea forward and invite you to become a Friend of the M.N.C. 

The benefits of membership will be prior information about all MNC Concerts, Choral Days, AGMs and invitations to Social Events, together with mailings of the Chairman’s newsletters and other Chorus information sheets.  You might also be occasionally willing to assist us with greeting people at concerts and selling programmes and tickets to those who arrive at the door on spec.  It is proposed that a membership fee of £5 per annum be levied to cover costs and make a small contribution to the MNC funds.
